Then in the early 1970s along with Ricky & Tammy she became a regular on John Williamson’s popular ‘Travelllin’ Out West’ TV series, further enhancing her national profile with personal concert appearances and regular club spots. Later on she made many appearances on television, including ‘Reg Lindsay’s Country Homestead’.
Since that time Emma has continued to travel widely, appearing at a variety of venues right across Australia.
Emma has recorded three solo albums and her single ‘Angel of The Morning’ won her a national award for Best Country Record of the Year. Her latest album is ‘Wayfaring Stranger’ which was recorded in 2006, and is a wonderful example of her vocal expertise.
Keep watch for her next recording which is currently in production.
The simple acoustic country/folk style of her performance shows that the influence of those genres is ingrained, but with every song it’s the power and soul of the voice and the engaging personality that continues to delight audiences wherever she goes.
